There are moments in a painting where you want to fuss with it more, and you don’t know if you should. You have a craving to push it, fuss with it, fix it, correct it, mess with it, but you can also push it too far and end up making it more about yourself than about the image.
Anne Bradford is a fine artist and illustrator from Durham living in the Asheville area. She is a graduate of Warren Wilson College currently working primarily in pen & ink and water color. She creates detailed, provocatively romantic images that draw the viewer into an intimate space of beauty and often a strangely appealing mixture of pain. |
